A student in Simpson Dining Hall reported her CTA Ventra U-Pass stolen after leaving her property unattended.

A student reported his wallet was stolen after leaving it unattended while playing club soccer at Hoyne Field.

Friday, Sept. 20, 9:27 p.m.

Two laptop computers and $150 in cash were taken from an unsecured office in the Norville Center for Athletics. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, Sept. 21, 10:53 a.m.

Staff members in the Norville Center for Athletics reported two laptops and an iPad stolen from their unsecured office sometime Friday night. Campus Safety thinks this case is related to another case of theft in Norville. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, Sept. 21, 12:23 p.m.

Campus Safety was called to Mertz Hall after staff called to report that someone removed sections of carpet from the 16th floor hallway. The investigation continues.

Saturday, Sept. 21, 5:38 p.m.

Campus Safety intervened in a battery involving a bouncer and patron at an off-campus bar. The offender was arrested and turned over to CPD.

Sunday, Sept. 22, 3:27 p.m.

A neighbor made a complaint to Campus Safety that unknown persons had thrown bottles and trash in her yard.
