Rambler Response: What is your favorite food for Super Bowl Sunday?

Londen Shannon, 19, sophomore, journalism and theatre
"In the past when I was at home, every single year my family would have a big Super Bowl party, and we'd have neighbors and family and just everybody come over, and we'd watch the game and have a lot of food. But since I've started college, last year, I started having my own little Super Bowl parties. I actually don't have anything planned for this one this year, but hopefully my roommates and I will put something together, and there will definitely be chicken wings, because that's my favorite."

Michelle King, 18, freshman, history
"My dad built a movie theater room down in our basement, and so it's got this great big screen and we connect the cable box to it every year and we have our family friends over to watch the Super Bowl. I always love cheese balls and Wheat Thins, but chips and salsa are classic."

Chase Paterson, sophomore, biology
"One tradition--my mother always used to make five-layer bean dip. We'll just sit down and watch the Super Bowl, but, you know, my sister and my mom will be more interested in the commercials, and I'll be more interested in the actual game."

Stevie Chu, 20, sophomore, advertising and public relations
"Usually me and my family get together and we watch the game, but this year I don't know what I'm going to do, because my 'Niners lost. But I love dip. Dip is probably my favorite--chips and dip. Have you ever had seven-layer dip? Seven-layer dip is good."

Nick Tyrell, 20, sophomore, economics
"It's either pizza or barbecue, and then we usually have random appetizers. Usually the little hot dogs in barbecue are delicious. [And] cheese and crackers, and guac and tacos."

"I'm from Buffalo [New York], so I love the classic Buffalo chicken wings, and I love to eat more chips than I care to admit."
