Rogers Park is home to Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus and is known for being one of Chicago’s most economically and culturally diverse neighborhoods, according to a report by the Chicago Sun-Times. This diversity expands beyond its residents and into the realm of restaurants and shops in the area, too.

We all know the hot spots for Loyola students, such as bopNgrill and Metropolis, but hopefully our list will have some new places for you to try. From local coffee shops and eateries to the lakefront and art, Rogers Park has something to offer everyone.

DRINK

Craving caffeine? Rogers Park has two Dunkin’ Donuts’ and two Starbucks locations within walking distance of campus. But if you’re tired of the same caffeine routine, consider some of these coffee shops. Drinks are on the map in maroon.

EAT

In addition to hot spots for coffee and drinks, Rogers Park has an array of restaurant options to satisfy your tastebuds. Restaurants are on the map in blue.

PLAY

Rogers Park has lots to do, such as visiting beautiful beaches along Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, the time to enjoy the sun and sand won’t swing around for another six months. Here are a few activities to get you through the winter. Find things to do in yellow.
