Battery Reported at Lake Shore Campus

A man inappropriately touched a Loyola student outside of Quinlan Life Sciences Center (1050 W. Sheridan Rd.) on the Lake Shore Campus (LSC) at approximately 2:30 p.m. Nov. 6, according to Campus Safety.

After committing the battery, the offender fled east on West Sheridan Road. The man was described as approximately 170 lbs, 20 to 25-years-old, 6-feet-tall and wearing a long beige or tan coat with dark-colored sweatpants and shoes, according to a crime alert email sent out Nov. 6 by Campus Safety around 7:30 p.m.

Campus Safety is working with the Chicago Police Department (CPD) on this investigation, according to the alert.

The CPD News Affairs office didn’t offer any further details on the incident.

Campus Safety didn’t immediately return The PHOENIX’s request for comment.
