A Loyola student, 21, was inappropriately touched by an unknown person at West Devon Avenue and Sheridan Road near Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus Nov. 6 around 8:00 p.m., according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD).
The offender, described as a male, approximately 40-45 years old and around 5-feet-4-inches tall, escaped on West Sheridan Road according to CPD News Affairs Officer Christine Calace. The offender was described as wearing ripped blue jeans, a black coat with a hood, sunglasses and a piercing in his nose. The offender also has a thick accent, identified as possibly Jamaican by the victim, Calace said.
Campus Safety is working with CPD area north detectives on an investigation, according to a crime alert email sent to Loyola students and staff.
Calace said no one is in custody at this time.
Campus Safety Sgt. Tim Cunningham said the crime alert has all of the information that he is able to release.
