A possible hit and run occurred in Rogers Park this morning resulting in multiple injuries, officials said.

Five people were injured in the accident — all treated as being in serious condition — according to Larry Langford, the Chicago Fire Department’s spokesperson.

The accident happened at the intersection of West Touhy Avenue and North Ridge Boulevard —  1.7 miles from Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus — at 10:45 a.m., according to CPD News Affairs officer Karie James.

One vehicle rolled over, although it isn’t clear yet how many vehicles were involved, Langford said.
