A man was riding his bicycle early Saturday in Rogers Park when he was shot, police said.

The 25-year-old was at the 6900 block of North Ashland Boulevard around 4:30 a.m. when an unknown person fired shots at him from inside a white Ford Focus, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Anthony Spicuzza said.

The victim was shot in the leg, but was listed in stable condition after being taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston by a passing driver, according to Spicuzza.
