Woman Beaten, Robbed at Loyola Red Line Station

A woman was beaten and robbed at the Loyola Red Line Station Wednesday night, police said.

Authorities responded to the 1200 block of West Loyola Avenue at about 11:15 p.m. after an unknown person repeatedly hit a 60-year-old woman and took miscellaneous property from her, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Anthony Spicuzza.

She refused medical treatment on the scene, Spicuzza said.
