Teen in Critical Condition After Being Shot in West Rogers Park

A 15-year-old boy was shot in West Rogers Park in broad daylight Saturday, police said.

The shooting happened in the 2700 block of Glenlake Avenue at approximately 3:25 p.m., according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Anthony Spicuzza. 

He was shot in the abdomen went to Swedish Covenant Hospital on North California Avenue, according to Spicuzza. The teen arrived at the hospital in critical condition and is set to be transferred to Stroger Hospital on Ogden Avenue, Spicuzza said.
