A second person was charged in the fatal shooting of Macksantino Webb at the Howard CTA station, police said.

Keith Gross, 30, was taken into custody Dec. 11 in northern suburb Skokie and identified as the offender, according to a press release from the Chicago Police Department. Gross was charged with first-degree murder, police said.

A Rogers Park resident, Michael Jackson, 18, was also previously charged in the shooting, The Phoenix reported.

Webb, 20, was allegedly shot at 12:30 p.m. on the Red Line platform of the Howard CTA station in the 7500 Block of North Paulina Street — about 1.5 miles from Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus, The Phoenix reported.

If anyone has information on the incident, call CPD at 312-744-8263.

A previous version of this story said Gross is a Rogers Park resident. He lives in Woodlawn, a neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. We regret the error.
