The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) announced a string of scheduling changes Jan. 14. The Loyola men’s basketball team’s series with Missouri State University and Drake University — originally set for Jan. 30-31 and Jan. 10-11, respectively — were both affected by the changes.

The Ramblers’ two-game series at Missouri State has been moved from Jan. 30-31 to Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. The Jan. 31 matchup is set for 2 p.m. on CBS Sports Network, while the Feb. 1 game is scheduled for 7 p.m. on either ESPN3 or ESPN+.

The MVC also announced the new dates for Loyola’s series with Drake after the games originally slated for Jan. 10-11 were postponed due to positive COVID-19 cases in the Bulldogs’ program. Now, the Ramblers are set to face Drake Feb. 13-14 in Des Moines, Iowa. Both games between Loyola and Drake are scheduled to tip-off at 5 p.m. on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

The release listed the “rescheduling of previously postponed series as well as game-date changes for a number of other contests,” but there was no mention of any additional series being postponed due to COVID-19.

The Ramblers are scheduled to play the University of Northern Iowa in their next series Jan. 16-17 at Gentile Arena. The Jan. 16 game is set to tip-off at 5 p.m. on ESPN2.
