After a hot start to its season the Loyola softball team started its MVC season by getting swept 3-0 by Evansville.

With four wins at the Madeira Beach Invitational Feb. 24, the Loyola softball team improved to 10-0 on the season and continues to surprise with its hot start — the best in program history.

First-year Eric Burns is shooting up the Loyola track and field record books. At the John Tierney invitational in Milwaukee he jumped 24.06 feet which put him in third place all-time for Loyola.

Sophomore Kevin White is looking to become the next Loyola runner to achieve a four-minute mile. He set a personal best 4:10.9 at the Black and Gold Premier in Iowa City, Iowa a week after running 4:14.12 at the John Tierney Classic in Milwaukee.

Men's Volleyball

After an up and down 4-3 start in which the Ramblers didn’t win more than two games in a row, the Loyola men’s volleyball team is hoping its tough early stretch gave its young roster enough confidence and experience to compete against the tough MIVA competition.

Track & Field

The Loyola men’s and women’s track and field teams kicked off their indoor seasons at the Grand Valley State University (GVSU) Holiday Open on Dec. 2 in Allendale, Michigan.

Club Sports

The Loyola club rugby team won the coveted Red Line Cup on Oct. 15, which placed the team is a good position for a playoff berth.
