The Loyola men’s and women’s golf teams wrapped up their fall seasons when they headed to Dayton, Ohio, for the Flyer Invitational on Oct. 17-18. Now, the teams will spend a few months away from the course to work out, practice and focus on classes.
Loyola’s men’s and women’s golf teams were back in action this week. Both teams were coming off rough performances at their last tournaments, the women bounced back and finished 4th out of 14 teams at the Rocket Classic and the men finished 9th out of 12 teams at the Northern Intercollegiate.
Although they are in their first years, Nick Bonema and Justin LaFrance are making an impact on the Loyola men’s golf team, impressing teammates and coaches alike.
The men’s golf team finished 13th out of 17 teams at the Northern Kentucky Fall Classic in Batavia, Ohio. The Ramblers succeeded in keeping all but one score below 80 for the tournament.
