Illinois Officials Announce 2,450 additional cases of COVID-19, 105 More Deaths

Illinois health officials announced 2,450 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 105 more deaths May 2.

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is reporting a total of 58,505 cases, including 2,559 deaths across 97 counties in Illinois.

Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have processed 15,208 specimens, bringing the total number of Illinoisans tested to 299,896, according to IDPH data.
