Shots Fired Toward Rogers Park Police District Building

Shots were fired in the direction of the 24th District Chicago Police Department (CPD) building in Rogers Park on the morning of April 18, according to CPD. 

An unknown offender drove up to the 24th District building — which is located about half a mile from Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus at 6464 N. Clark St. — and began firing shots in the direction of the building at approximately 10:21 a.m., police said. No injuries or damages were reported, according to CPD.

The offender then fled the scene, and no one is in custody, according to CPD. Area three detectives are investigating.
