BREAKING: One Killed, Two Wounded in Rogers Park Shooting

While standing on the sidewalk at approximately 8:50 p.m., three men were shot — one fatally — on the 6600 block of N. Clark St. Nov. 9, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD). 

The incident took place in Rogers Park, just a few blocks west of Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus. 

One victim, a 29-year-old man, was taken to Ascension Saint Francis hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to CPD. He was later pronounced dead.

Another victim, a 48-year-old man, was also transported to Ascension Saint Francis hospital by the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) and was in fair condition after a gunshot wound to the face, according to CPD.

The third victim was a 43-year-old man who was shot in the abdomen and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center by the CFD, according to CPD.

Area Three Detectives are still investigating the incident and no suspects have been taken into custody, according to CPD.
