Man Fatally Shot Near Morse Red Line Stop
A 21-year-old male was fatally shot on the 1400 block of W. Morse Ave. at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to CPD.
The victim was standing outside when an unknown male offender fired multiple gunshots in his direction. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead. CPD said no one is currently in custody.
The identity of the victim hasn’t been announced. University spokesperson Matt Mcdermott said there is no known Loyola connection as of March 12.
