Basketball season is officially upon us.

Loyola Athletics dropped the official schedule for Loyola men’s basketball Sept. 29, and it features rivalry exhibitions, national multi-team events and conference matchups.

The Ramblers start their season with a series of exhibition games in Gentile Arena, starting with Red Line Rivals DePaul University Oct. 18.

The weekend before Thanksgiving, the Ramblers travel to Palm Springs, Calif. to compete in the Acrisure Series, taking on San Jose State University and either Seattle University or University of California San Diego.

Over winter break, Loyola travels to Frisco, Texas to take on Florida Atlantic University and University of Nevada in the inaugural Texas Legends College Classic Dec. 18 and 20.

The Ramblers begin conference play at home against George Washington University Dec. 30 before a road trip to University of Richmond and the University of Dayton.

Loyola returns from winter break with a game in Gentile Arena against Davidson University Jan. 16 before traveling again and taking on conference rival St. Louis University in Gentile Arena Feb. 9.

The Ramblers close out games in Gentile Arena against Fordham University and University of La Salle Feb. 27 and March 2 before ending their regular season with a road game against George Washington University March 6.

Men’s basketball games are free for students to attend, but require claiming a ticket online before the game. Ticket claims open two weeks prior to each game.

Students can navigate to the Student Ticket Hub, where they can log in and claim student section general admission tickets for no fee. Student seating is located in sections 108, 109 and 100 of Gentile Arena, with overall ticketing varying with availability.

Student tickets for the exhibition game against DePaul are available now and can be claimed online.

As Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, BVM always said, “God Bless and go Ramblers.”
