The staff of The Phoenix attended the Illinois College Press Association (ICPA) competition at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the Magnificent Mile on Feb. 18. The competition included submissions by 22 schools and received 779 entries. The entries were reviewed by a panel of 34 judges.
The Phoenix staff received 11 awards this year. Because the publication’s website was temporarily down at the end of the fall semester, the staff was unable to submit for some categories.
