Bulldog Ale House, a bar and grill near Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus, closed its doors this week and put up banners advertising a new breakfast restaurant set to “Open Soon.”

Honey Berry Pancakes and Cafe, which will replace Bulldog’s at 6606 N. Sheridan Road, has seven other locations in Illinois and more in Wisconsin and Texas, according to their website. There is currently no information about the opening date of the Rogers Park location.

All other Honey Berry locations are open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the weekdays and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. There is currently no information about open and close times for the Rogers Park location.

The manager of the Rogers Park Bulldog’s denied a request for comment, and the location is no longer listed alongside the nine other Illinois Bulldog Ale Houses on their website. A handwritten sign on the restaurant door reads, “Closed. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

This is a developing story.

It is unclear when Honey Berry Pancakes and Cafe will open. (Austin Hojdar / The Phoenix)
