Spring has sprung, seasonal depression has been vanquished and the blossoming trees serve as beacons of hope as the semester reaches its end, for the last Blue Skies Ahead installment of the year. Visit the Lincoln Park conservatory to see vibrant spring blooms and the Tower of Jewels, a dramatic, unique plant which can grow flowers up to two-to-three feet tall, and don’t miss the last two indoor farmer’s markets in Logan Square.

For a quick escape from the everyday routine, head down to the Chicago Riverfront to witness 30 minutes of wonder through illuminated art. If looking to meet some human or furry companions, stop by Cody’s Public House for their Bulldog Meetup April 18.
