Julia Pentasuglio is The Phoenix’s editor-in-chief. She is a fourth-year majoring in multimedia journalism and political science with a minor in environmental communication. Outside of Loyola, Julia has written for The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Wash. and the Akron Beacon Journal in Akron, Ohio as an intern reporter. She has also worked on the Digital Media team at North Coast Media, a business-to-business magazine company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Julia enjoys writing about energy and  environmental issues, parks and recreation and local politics. Outside of her love for news and investigative storytelling, Julia enjoys camping, biking, skiing and anything she can do outside. Got a story recommendation?
