Pisces season is meant to bring about a time of relaxation and self-reflection, according to Cosmopolitan. However, those struggling with productivity after break may not have this luxury.
In the spirit of productivity, The Phoenix has compiled a list of recommended study spots around Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus based on zodiac signs.
Aries (March 21 to April 19): Center Stage Café
The Center Stage Café on the ground floor of Mundelein is compatible with Aries’ energetic and personable disposition.
With easy access to caffeinated beverages and permission to speak loudly to others, this café easily meets Aries’ extroverted needs.
The prospect of people-watching Mundelein’s elevator lines from the café is also an amusing bonus for this fire sign.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20): The Greenhouse in Mundelein
Drawn to relaxing and beautiful climates, this earth sign would do best in Mundelein’s greenhouse, located on the seventh floor.
Its limited seating ensures a calm and private study session. The room’s glass ceiling, view of Lake Michigan and potted plant study buddies sets up the greenhouse as an ideally aesthetic study spot for Taurus.
Gemini (May 21 to June 21): Palm Court

Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 23): Information Commons (IC) Second Floor
Represented by the constellation of the Scales, Libra strives to be diplomatic and tends to avoid conflict. Thus, the best study spot for them is the ever-classic second floor of the IC.
This air sign can appreciate the balance between light conversation and silent studying the second floor provides.
As a gifted communicator with a social personality, Libra may also enjoy making use of the study rooms available for reservations.
Scorpio (Oct. 24 to Nov. 21): Cudahy Library Stacks
Three words — mysterious, dark academia. Scorpio seeks out the best places to brood quietly but menacingly, and the stacks in Cudahy Library are precisely an area for that.
Studying next to Loyola’s archives, Scorpio can revel in the “Dead Poets Society” feeling of old academia. As more of an obscure study spot, it grants Scorpio their coveted title of being enigmatic.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21): East Quad
Sagittarius is free-spirited in their adventurous nature. They’re the kind to wilt when stuck within the closed environments of study rooms. So, it’s best for them to expand their horizons to the East Quad in front of the IC.
Leaning against the trunk of a tree or laying down on top of a picnic blanket is just the type of unconventional study spot this fire sign craves.
The grassy expanse also allows Sagittarius to forget about any stifling inside voice and let free in their boisterous personality.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19): Cudahy Floor Three Study Cubicles
Capricorn is straightforward and productive in a frighteningly efficient and single-minded way.

The third floor of the IC demands quiet, and being surrounded by fellow silent studiers is incredibly beneficial to Pisces. As the most empathetic and sensitive zodiac sign, it’s in their best interest to place themself in an environment of like-minded individuals.
This water sign can also do some introspective gazing onto Lake Michigan from the window-paned-walls of the IC, which may be soothing during the anxiety of studying.
